This post will self destruct in two days
I got my ACT results back. Way earlier than I expected. I didn’t improve my original score. In fact it dropped a point. I know it’s only one point, and earlier I said it didn’t matter because I already had a score I liked. But I hadn’t realized how much I had hoped to improve my score, even a little, until I opened my mail and saw my second score.
So, I’m unhappy, and disappointed. I know life goes on, and it’s okay, but it’s still frustrating.
Thanks for reading.

I’m O.K. now. I’ve had some time to other things, and now I can act like I know it’s not the end of the world (I really did realize it before, but it still hurt, so I wasn’t acting like it wasn’t the end of the world).
I’m thinking of deleting this post tomorrow (Tuesday) because I don’t want to push the story down further just yet, because I want all y’all to tell me what you think about it. So, please comment on the story!

Delete it if you will, it is up to you. But it’s not bad to be disapointed. As long as your first score was good enough you haven’t lost anything. Besides the ACT does not judge smarts, no one is going to think less of you because it dropped. Cheer up girl!

Thanks!
I appreciate your comment. Really, I am okay now. I want to keep this post because it was important to me. The main reason I thought I should delete it is because noone will see the story post and won’t comment on it. (not like that’s happening anyway) So, I might not delete it.

I’ll tell you the same thing you told me when i was worried about the PSAT. It doesn’t matter because the test doesn’t test what you are really good at. So don’t worry about it.

If you are worried about the story being pushed down my newer posts, why don’t you just make a page on your blog for the story? You will be able to keep posting and the story won’t get lost in the posts.
Just a random thought…..

That might be a good idea, but how exactly do I do it? I made a page, my profile, but it doesn’t do paragraphs or even seperate lines when I hit the enter button. And you can’t see when it’s been updated.

It not wanting to seperate lines is weird. I didn’t find pages easy to do on my blogsome blog. Now Wordpress on the other hand…lol, sorry, I’ll let Caleb be the annoying one and try to convince you to change blogs.
As far as updating, you could put something like “last updated [insert date]” next to the link.

Lol Christina…
Yes, you can make new lines on blogsome, but you have to use the HTML code for it. WordPress does all that for you.

Great pitch, Caleb, but this is a shared blog. It would take a shared decision to switch. Personally, I’m kinda attached to this one; and what’s more is I like my puppies!
What’s the HTML code?
Comment by Kitty Pryde — March 3, 2006 @ 11:13 pm
Man, that’s odd. It just refuses to separate the lines.

Hahahahaha! That’s funny, Estel! But if I were to put the story there, it wouldn’t be my friend because it wouldn’t be Empty Page anymore.
Maybe I will, if I can get the HTML code to seperate lines/paragraphs.

Well, if this comment box will let me show HTML code… it’s If that didn’t work I’ll say it in words… less-than sign, the letters b and r, greater-than sign
