Oh, the busyness of me…

Okay, this is why I waited to post until today. Because so much happened since my last post, and I’m trying not to post every day. lol :-)

Thursday was… interesting. Oh, yeah, and lots of fun! Thursday was my first day of Senior Irish dance class! The girls were really nice to me (the newcomer). In fact, it seemed like I had a fan club or something! lol/ The actual warmup and stretching was tortuous and long. Anyway, I still like it and lookforward to getting better (and stronger!) in dance.

We had people over for the OU football game. Nice turnout of people, but not so nice turnout of the game. :-( Anyway, I had a class meeting, and had to leave while the game was still on. We were electing officers. I ran for Vice President which is the office I held last year. I didn’t get the job. It surprised me (and maybe my opponent). Looking back, it’s funny. When I lost, I realized that I still wanted to serve the class through an office. I decided shortly thereafter, still in the meeting, to run for Reporter (a job nobody was currently running for). That job I got. :-) (lol, Rachel, I got your job!) I think although it involves a lot, this job will be better for me and my schedule.

Rebekah, if you read this know that I am in no way bitter towards you. Actually, I’m glad you got the job. I think you’ll be great at it. :-)

  1. Hey Dotty,
Congrats on the office and on it being one that better fits your schedule. :)

  6. Congrats on getting your office, and good luck with your Sr. year!
On the time thing, if it helps I still have yet to get the time of my blog right. I think your time difference is the same as mine. Therortically you should be able to go under “Options” and set the time to differ by -5 hours (or so I’ve been told) but I have yet to get it to work. Of couse Caleb may have better advice.

  8. Your welcome. I don’t know what the deal is. Nothing is changing on mine either and I’ve tried several times.

  11. Yay!! Dottie! I found your blog!

Yes, we are your fanclub! I’m so happy you’re in Sr. Irish! This year is going to be challenging for all of us but REALLY fun. Yeah, the warmup we did last week is somewhat like what some of our troupe warmups are like… but we don’t do it for that long every time! We missed you a lot today—I’m sorry you’re sick!! We worked on a bunch of hardshoe stuff that you’ll pick up on next week or the week after. YAY I’m so excited about this year! Lol… sorry… I’m just crazy….

Wow, that’s funny! You had my table at the Sr. Honor Banquet AND you have my job! Awesome! Yeah, if you’re used to writing emails, being the reporter is pretty simple. And it’s a great way to be involved! I’m glad you got the job.

Estel, Lord of the Beans—wasn’t that the new Veggie Tales movie, lol? I want to see it!! That’ll be… a sight. :D

I know you’ll be a great reporter because you were always a great editor for the STM newsletter. It has been a long time since the last meting of STM and I miss it a lot because now I never get to see you.
